Per our update on 10/20, some users reported that they were unable to access the curriculum videos. After some investigating, it was determined to be a cache issue. To find out if you are experiencing a cache issue, click on any video link on the curriculum. If the video opens up as a new window on Vimeo.com, your browser is loading an old version of the site and your cache must be cleared. When your cache is properly cleared and you are loading the latest version of the site, the video links will open in a pop-up window. Upon entering the password (mymo), the video will appear. ⚠️ Action Requested We instituted a temporary password because that is the only way the video links will load for everyone regardless of cache status. Please take a moment to check your video links. If you are certain you have cleared your cache and videos are still opening up incorrectly, please contact Mae Perez at mperez@mygym.com. We will be removing the passwords...

Eager to share more than one link in your Instagram bio? Or maybe you use a third-party service like LinkTree? Well, good news. We’ve uploaded a customizable, My Gym-branded Instagram landing page to MGM for you to use. Get more website views and online bookings from Instagram by ensuring that your followers can find exactly what they’re looking for while scrolling through your feed. Instagram allows only one link to be posted at a time in your bio, so you are left either A) continuously changing your main link to reflect current promotions, B) using a third party service (sometimes paid), or C) using your website homepage URL. Now you’ll be able to use just one link to direct your followers to specific pages on your website or to your other social platforms. As many of our gyms are starting to regrow, we’d like to remind you that safety should be at the forefront of everyone’s mind. Below are a few reminders for you to review during your next staff meeting. All of the equipment in the gym is made for children. Coming to a My Gym near you, it’s Cyber Monday! Every year millions upon millions of dollars are spent during Cyber Monday. In 2019, a record topping $9.4 billion was spent just online! A clear, simple, enticing deal can ensure a Cyber Monday success. On a year like no other, My Gyms are running more programs than ever before: Outdoor classes, STEAM Learn & Play, My Gym LIVE, etc. This year we strongly recommend an “easy-to-understand” Cyber offer. A simple way for parents to save, and realize how much they are saving in the process, is to give the same percentage off ALL programs. Codes can be program or activity name plus percentage amount (e.g., STEAM25). “It’s Cyber Monday at My Gym (your location)! Buy more and save! Use the applicable code listed below to save 25% off ALL programs: Birthday Parties, My Gym Camps, Gift Certificates, and MORE! Enrollment in any class includes a Free Lifetime Membership. Savings end at midnight, so buy and save now!” Directives for...

Hello! These days, running Facebook/Instagram and Google AdWords ads is not optional for a small business. It’s a pay-to-play environment if we want to reach new clients and grow our revenue. MGE has created a simple and affordable option for you to get support with your Facebook/Instagram Ads and Google AdWords. Scott Hendison, founder of Search Commander Inc., is a familiar name to many of you, as Scott worked with numerous franchisees from 2015-2017. In 2017, in an effort to streamline vendors, MGE transitioned franchisees to Reach Local. The relationship with Reach Local was great for some but rocky for others. In addition, Reach Local required a minimum of $500 a month, making this option cost prohibitive for some franchisees. We’ve been speaking to Scott for some time now, since our world seems to have stabilized in many areas, and we feel this is the right time to relaunch this relationship. We know all franchisees have cut expenses drastically, but, in order to grow, we must put some dollars...

Hello! Now that many of you are open, we want to remind you of an important Space Flight hardware detail that is often overlooked. Pictured is a “Wire Rope Clip” (also known as a “Wire Rope Clamp,” U-bolt, or U-clip): In the file, “Space Flight Hardware and Assembly Directives,” you will see that 3 Wire Rope Clips are used at one end of the Space Flight cable installation. It is possible that you have another 3 Wire Cable Clips at the other end as well, for a total of 6, but this is rare. It is common for Wire Rope Clips to be installed incorrectly, which diminishes their strength. The images below show the correct and incorrect ways to install the Wire Rope Clips. Note that the saddle of the clip is in contact with the live end of the cable. Please inspect your hardware to be sure your Wire Rope Clips are installed properly. You may also email a picture to equipment@mygym.com so we can confirm proper installation....

We are VERY excited to announce that we are relaunching a fun-filled promotional marketing program with Netflix and their preschool show, “Go! Go! Cory Carson.” Our initial launch, at select locations only, was in March; however, COVID-19 caused the promotion to be cut short. The relaunching will include all My Gym locations in the U.S. and Canada. Cory is a little kid car with an engine that runs on fun. His eager playful spirit can often get him into challenging and entertaining forks in the road. Cory and his family live in Bumperton Hills, where there’s always someone interesting to talk to and another adventure just down the road. Here are the details and directives: Dates: October 5 – December 26, 2020Note: Curricula integration will not run consecutively for the entirety of this campaign. More information below.Elements: Curriculum – All U.S. and Canadian locations. Dear Franchisees, Our account is still under review and we still do not have an ETA for restoring service. Meanwhile, we are continuing to work behind the scenes on both temporary solutions and potentially permanent changes to our vendor going forward. Several gyms have started to explore the Mailchimp option. If you are interested in joining, please see the account setup guide and tutorial on the Operations Manual. NOTE: If you were sent the tutorial via email, please download the updated version on the Operations Manual. Please remember that Mailchimp is not a complete replacement, but a viable solution for most situations in a pinch. We thank you again for your continued patience and understanding. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and our hearts go out to all the families fighting this heart-wrenching battle. Because of COVID-19, hospitals are restricting visitors and closing communal spaces. As a result, hospitalized children are feeling even more isolated and alone. This month, in our ongoing effort to help children in need, we ask My Gymers to help raise money for Starlight Children’s Foundation. Starlight Children’s Foundation supplies specially-adapted gaming stations, virtual reality headsets, and comfy, colorful hospital gowns to seriously ill children. Starlight works with over 800 hospitals and medical centers across the U.S. Their programs can turn a hospitalized kid’s feelings of being overwhelmed and stressed into a sense of joy through hours of fun. As part of the Streaming for Starlight fundraiser, we will be streaming a My Gym LIVE class on our corporate Facebook page: www.facebook.com/mygymfun. The class will be held on Monday, September 21, at 4pm ET/1pm PT. Our fundraising goal is $1,000 – but let’s blow that out of the water. Help us spread the word by sharing the donation link (https://tiltify.com/@mygymfun/starlight) and...

As you know, we planned on launching a Direct-to-Parent Birthday Party Favor Program earlier this year. As a reminder, this program is set up to send emails to parents when they book parties so they can purchase My Gym party favors from www.mygympartyfavors.com. The transaction is handled by the My Gym Merchandise Division; the favors are shipped directly to the members’ homes, and the gym hosting the party receives 20% of the revenue. The launch of this program was put on hold since gyms have been closed during the Coronavirus crisis. Now that some gyms are operating and hosting parties, even with reduced members and guests present, we are launching this program so that parents who want My Gym party favors can obtain them, and so gyms have an opportunity to earn money from the revenue share. Some gym owners notified us back in February that they wanted to opt-out of this program, since they were selling party favors on their own. Please advise us if your desire to...

We’re happy to let you know that we are upgrading our Curriculum Center on MGM! In an effort to improve our programs and provide you all with increased ease of access, we have added a few new items, which are outlined below. STEAM Learn and Play Ever since we announced the addition of the 3-hour “STEAM Learn and Play” program, we’ve had marked interest from people asking to see curriculum for it. Well, the wait is over! We are thrilled to let you know that STEAM Learn and Play curriculum will join the Weekly Curriculum beginning with Week 34 (which corresponds to 8/17). Before you run this program, please take a moment to read all the notes listed throughout the curriculum. Though it runs very similarly to a themed camp, there are some notable differences (specifically with the inclusion of STEAM) with which you’ll want to familiarize yourself. Also, you will want to access the program ahead of time, as each week of curriculum will include a downloadable supply...
