MGM 3.0 Update

We hope everyone is doing well.  We are happy to say that MGM has stabilized to a point where there are very few issues and the system is running well.  The number of tickets to the help center has decreased 95% over the past two weeks, and we are continuing to help franchisees learn the system. Enabling Online Booking for Camp

It’s camp planning time!  Parents are already thinking about Spring and even Summer Camp, so we want to be a step ahead!  Fortunately, MGM 3.0 has made it much more convenient this year to enroll members with online booking.  Now you can sell enrollments in camp while you’re teaching a Skill Station, handing out pizza at a party, and yeah, even while you’re cleaning the ball pit after an “accident.”  We know there are a few questions… How do I add a camp to my schedule? The Children YOU Help: Meet Suubi Suubi is a six-year-old girl with Spastic Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorder, and Cortical Visual Impairment, which leaves her blind. She is almost completely nonverbal and immobile. Thanks to your help, Suubi can now experience the joys of Music Therapy. During her first 45-minute session, she verbalized 20 times, which is an incredible accomplishment for Suubi. Hyland’s Homeopathic – Free Sampling Program

The next phase of the Hyland’s Homeopathic Free Sampling Program is here!  Each gym will receive a free shipment containing all of the materials you will need to execute the program, which runs for a month from February to March, 2016. The samples and coupons should be made available to all customers from 2/11/16 to 3/11/16 or until supplies are gone, whichever occurs first. MGE marketing is happy to announce another national promotion similar to the one we conducted with Olive Garden during the fall of 2015.  There is nothing that gyms need to do other than to please honor the promotional vouchers if/when customers contact you and bring them in. MGM Status Update: Important Things to Know

ATTENDANCE FOR JANUARY 2ND & 3RD Shortly after launch, we uncovered a bug where attendance records were not being saved in any classes on two specific days: January 2nd and early classes on January 3rd. We had requested everyone to re-mark their rosters, but found that the magically disappearing attendance problem persisted. The root has finally been discovered, and a fix has been applied. Unfortunately, we must ask that everyone re-mark their attendance for this time period, yet again, to the best of your ability. MGM Update

We know and understand your frustration regarding the issues experienced since the launch of 3.0.  This, of course, includes the major glitch this morning with credit card batching.  We hear chatter about our not having tested the system properly or our not having enough resources to fix the bugs now.  This is just not the case.  When a new platform is launched, as we have done, some of this is normal and to be expected; however, please know that we were not anticipating nor are we OK with the number of glitches that keep getting identified.  Please keep in mind that the entire platform was rewritten and is now a very robust system that has thousands of corners.  We did a tremendous amount of testing, and the bugs are being fixed quickly.  Please be assured we do have enough resources on it, and it is getting better, not worse.  We are tracking the bugs each day, and they are declining rapidly.  We understand emotions run high when there is...

Bambo Nature- New In-Gym Marketing Materials and Diapers Are On the Way!

This month, we are going to be refreshing our partnership with Bambo Nature. We have already launched a social media contest, and a new batch of diapers is being sent to each participating gym this month. Additionally, we are going to be updating the current marketing materials in the gyms. MGM Update: Camp & Event Pricing

As you’ve seen, MGM 3.0 now offers online registration and purchasing of camps and events.  Please understand that, when we were choosing the functionality to build for online camp signups, we gave a lot of thought to the best way for franchisees to make the most amount of money possible, give the most flexibility, and make it simple for the consumer.  Camp pricing structures range greatly from franchisee to franchisee – bulk discounting, sibling discounting, bundling discounting, etc. MGE believes that the bulk discounting method is the simplest and best way to run camps…or any “event” such as PNO.  We understand that many of the franchisees offer sibling discounts, and most have bulk discounting on top of that.  This is confusing for consumers to understand and often difficult for staff to explain.  We believe in the concept that, whether a family has three children or one child, they should pay the same amount if they are buying 10 camp days.
