Join the My Gym “Cups” Song Video Contest!

The new My Gym Mymo Favor Cup is now available on ShopMyGym.com, and there’s a lot of excitement buzzing around it.  This cup is even inspiring people to break into song.  Evan Bertisch, the ten-year-old daughter of My Gym CEO Cory, created a song and video about My Gym based on the “Cups” song from Pitch Perfect (If you’re not familiar with the “Cups” song, watch its video on YouTube).  Evan’s video gave the MGE Merchandise Division the idea of running a contest inviting all gyms to post their own creative My Gym “Cups” song video.  Your song should follow the tune of the “Cups” song and feature the cup routine and your original lyrics about My Gym.  We’re sending all domestic gyms a sample cup to use in their videos; they should arrive in the mail between 7/1 and 7/8.  If you already have the new Mymo Favor Cups, you can use them to make your video sooner. It’s time to raise tuition prices!

Although there is no undesirable time to raise prices, if you start planning now, you could align yourself to raise prices in time with the fall season.  If you haven’t raised prices within the past year or two, it would be wise to raise prices now.  The financial benefits are difficult to ignore.  For example, if you are currently at a tuition price of $74 and would consider moving up to $78 ($1 per week), at 325 members you would bring in an additional $13,000 by this time next year.  This surplus of income is also the strongest case against grandfathering in any of your current members.  We strongly advise against that method.  Below is a list of gyms that have recently raised prices across the board (with no grandfathering in current members); and, although a bit nerve-wracking, their experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Upcoming West Training Seminar, June 26th-27th We are just one week away from the West Training Seminar, and we’re anxious to see everyone at this very fun and motivational event! Because of the huge turnout of 170 people registered, we are changing the venue of the seminar. The seminar will no longer be held at the Pasadena gym location. Please see the information below. These digital ads can be used on Facebook along with your own customized posts to help promote your classes, events, campaigns, and more. To view and download these new elements, visit the extranet and click “Logos, Pictures, Music, Video & More.” Open the “Social Media” folder and then open the “Digital Ads” folder. This gallery will have digital ads added as they are available, encompassing core and ancillary programs, campaigns, and miscellaneous messages.
