MGCA 2014 Convention Recap

We are proud and grateful to announce that our 2014 Convention Fundraiser was the most successful My Gym franchisee charitable event to date. Not only was a great time had by our My Gym family members; we were able to raise funds and awareness that will bring smiles to many more children. The kindness and empathy of over 260 gyms represented has strengthened our resolve to raise the profile of My Gym Challenged America, ensuring that as many people as possible are aware of the good we do for so many children and families facing unimaginable challenges. Our first of two Building Blocks webinars will commence on September 8th. If you haven’t registered, please do so immediately. Still Using Birthday Party Sign-In Sheets?

If you are, it’s time to stop and get on board with one of the new methods.  We all know that obtaining guests from birthday parties is an essential part of our growth; but, boy, is it tough to get people to sign in on those darn sheets!  Many gyms have been using one of the two newer methods with excellent results. Digital Sign-In The Digital Sign-In method is effective in capturing customer information, is easy to upload into Exact Target, and saves payroll hours.  Simply use a PAID Formstack account with a form created specifically for birthday party guests.  Have the form open on a tablet or laptop and require all birthday party guests to complete the form before their children enter the gym.  The rest is simple: After the weekend of parties, you will export all the contacts from Formstack into a CSV spreadsheet and import the list into an Exact Target “Birthday Guest” list. We are launching the new updated website tomorrow, Sunday, sometime in the late afternoon or evening.  We are anticipating a smooth launch, but there could be a few minor glitches during this process. NOTE:  Unless you absolutely have to, please don’t make any changes in the boss tools for the website from this point until the new site is launched.  You will be free to do anything you need Monday morning. MGM Users, As you have certainly noticed, changes have been made to the way class schedules appear on your website.  We apologize that advanced notice regarding the changes were not provided.  The developers completed the project ahead of schedule and were overly eager to release this much requested feature. Current Schedule The current schedule contains all classes that are currently running. Future / Coming Soon Schedule To set up your “Future Schedule:” Log in to the extranet and click “Edit Web Sites & Schedules.”  Then, select your gym and click “Gym Information.” Place a check next to “Enable MGM Future Schedule.” Enter the date your “Future Schedule” will start.
