Exact Target Personalization Error

Have you tried to send an email lately, only to be stopped by this error message? This is not an Exact Target functionality error, but an MGE programming error. Please note that we are planning a massive Exact Target overhaul that will eliminate this problem over the next couple of weeks (an update on that will be sent early this week), so you will not continually run into this problem in the future. Until the overhaul happens, there are two options to fix this problem: Email Mae (mperez@mygym.com) with the name of the email you are trying to send, and specify that you are receiving the Personalization Error. She will make all attempts to fix it within one hour during MGE office hours, or by the next morning after hours. Follow the step-by-step tutorial and fix it on your own. (It’s easy; we promise!) Dear Franchisee, As we often say to the kids at the end of a birthday party, we have good news and we have bad news.  The good news is that we’ve seen a drop in the overall number of sends coming out of Exact Target over the past six months.  The Marketing Division would like to thank those of you who have:  1) cleaned out your subscriber lists and 2) diversified your marketing plans to reduce the number of sends and/or for employing avenues other than just Exact Target.  Way to go!  The bad news, however, is that the drop hasn’t been great enough to totally fix our problem.  So, it’s with that in mind that we must implore you all, as members of the My Gym family, to do your part once again and modify your subscriber lists (clean out all those bounces and unsubscribes) and really be cognizant of what you send and when. February Olympics Programming The Winter Olympics will be taking place in Sochi, Russia during the month of February, running from the 6th to the 23rd.
