MGM Users We have successfully transitioned nearly 50% of all users to the new 2.0 platform. At this point, we need to begin scheduling the remaining gyms’ migration dates. Over the next few weeks, we will be contacting you to make scheduling arrangements. We will work with you to coordinate the best possible date for all parties. Migrations will take place Monday – Friday and will not include holidays so that all necessary programmers can be available. The steps involved with the migration include: Schedule your date. Email Jenmark@runmygym.com the evening before your date to inform the programmers when you are logged off for the night. The programmers will migrate the data from 1.0 to 2.0 that night. You must plan to be without the MGM system for 24 hours; however, the average down time has been much less. Jenmark will email you the new log-in information as soon as the account is ready. Dear MGM Users, To maintain productivity and efficiency, it is important that all MGM related topics, issues, questions, and recommendations be communicated via the Help Desk. In this way, the programmers and developers will directly receive the issue and be able to respond and react in the timeliest manner. We recently polled the gyms regarding their interest in an “all-purpose” branded ribbon; and, in response to the positive feedback we received, we moved forward and produced the Shining Star Ribbon. General Information The South Regional Training Seminar will begin at 1:30pm on Friday afternoon, June 28th. Please be on time. The meetings will end around 6:30pm, and we will gather for a mixer at 7:30pm. Saturday morning there will be an owners only meeting from 7:30-8:30am. All owners will need to be there at 7:30am, and the rest of the staff will start at 8:30am. Last meeting will end at approximately 5:00pm on Saturday. Please plan to attend the entire seminar. My Gym has officially launched its new mobile friendly website!!! As some of you might know, My Gym finished launching its mobile site a couple of days ago. There is nothing you, as franchisees, need to do here. This is simply another version of our website that is easy to read for web surfers using their cell phones. We have programmed this site to show up on mobile phones. Our regular website will show when someone is trying to access our website through a tablet computer. Our website does display well on these devices. Mobile is the wave of the future, and a higher percentage of web surfers are accessing our website through phones every month. The Northeast Training Seminar was held on June 7th-8th, and it was an amazing event. There were over 140 people present, making this the biggest regional seminar for attendance! We will be upgrading our servers used to host our website this weekend. There are many advantages to this server upgrade, including a faster website and higher Google search rankings. Unfortunately, it is not a “flip of a switch.” The new server needs to propagate down to all computers, which will take 24 to 72 hours. Because of this fact, you WILL NOT be able to update any data in your BOSS tools on the extranet during this time. The plan is to start the migration at around 6:00 PM ET this Friday (6/7). We will have an alert posted on the extranet letting you know when you are able to start using the BOSS tools again. MGM 2.0 is here! Early adopters have been using the new program for several weeks, helping us with the final debugging process. Thank you to everybody who has been involved in helping us get MGM 2.0 to this point. There are still minor changes currently being made to the program in order to provide My Gym franchisees with the best possible functionality. Please keep in mind that the two main reasons we made this upgrade was to fix the speed issue and to have an appropriate environment to create the user interface that will allow your customers and new clients to book birthday parties, schedule guest classes, etc., etc. We are now hard at work developing the user interface, which will be rolled out in the summer.
