We have some important updates regarding My Gym technology, and we ask for your attention to this announcement. MGM has been an integral part of our operations for many years, initially developed by a My Gym franchisee. It began as desktop software aimed at managing our clients, evolving through various iterations with different developers. Our goal when developing MGM was to provide a low-cost technological solution that contained all the functionality needed to operate a My Gym. We are proud of what MGM has been able to do for our franchisees and clients. As technology continues to advance rapidly, and with a relatively small number of users, it’s clear that MGM has reached its limit. We faced a crucial decision: whether to develop completely new software or seek an existing “off the shelf” solution. Building new software would mean a significant increase in the franchisee’s monthly technology fee upwards of $750 – $900 per month. To aid in the decision, we developed a small franchisee task force. After months...

We are aware of the ongoing issue with login sessions not saving for the full 30 days, and in many cases, even in the same day. MGM has hundreds of users from hundreds of different devices; each individual session is highly unique due to varying web browsers, versions, settings, and so on. We have been working with individual gyms to check their browser settings in an effort to write a standard protocol for people to troubleshoot on their own. This is a work in progress. We ask that you reach out to the Help Desk even if you are not having any issues. Your settings are also an important metric for us. We completely understand that having to enter a code many times a day is (frankly) annoying. We kindly ask for your patience while we find the standard troubleshooting protocol for all. If you find that your Inbox is becoming inundated with 2FA emails, we recommend setting up an Outlook rule to move them out of sight into...

The Tech Team is actively investigating reports received concerning the following issues: Login sessions not saving / Codes required after every login We are reaching out to individuals to set up screen sharing sessions with our developers. If you are experiencing this issue and have 15-20 minutes to meet with us, please reach out. Codes not being delivered to some email addresses First check your spam folders. Codes are sent from noreply@mygym.com. If it’s not in your spam, send us the individual email address(es) and we will check to see if there was previously a block/bounce/unsubscribe event on the account. We have found this to be the reason on a few occasions. Please note that a copy of all codes will also be sent to the default gym email on file (Gym > Admin > Settings) as an extra layer of security. Contact the Help Desk via the portal or by emailing tech@mygym.com to report any continued issues with...

Now that some of our new equipment has begun to appear in curriculum, we wanted to answer some commonly-asked questions and provide some tips on how to best make use of your new purchases! Water Mats: Please note the following cleaning and general maintenance instructions to prevent any potential water molding: Use and fill the mat with only distilled water. For each fill up, add a little bit of vinegar. Be sure to change and refill the water weekly. Baby Toys: For “Coming-In” toys in a Tiny Tykes class, feel free to rotate in your bath toys, toy cars, and water mats as you see fit! Wobble Board, Gonge Top, and Foam Beam: These are fantastic new pieces that can be left on the gym floor as part of your setup OR put away at your discretion…whatever works best for your gym and space! It has recently come to our attention that the Gift Certificate “discount” feature was not functioning properly in MGM. When gift certificates were created with a discount, the full gift certificate amount was still being logged as revenue for products in the Financial Revenue Overview. We will be implementing a change to fix these discounts tomorrow morning (March 6). The fix will show only payments received reflected in the report. We know that many gyms use this feature to create gift certificates for donations and fundraisers. Please note that this fix will alter the Revenue Overview in these cases and any other cases where discounts exist. Please reach out to Tech with any questions regarding this...

Recently, we have received reports of issues when adjusting class schedules. Some gyms are experiencing problems with current enrollment dates being pushed back and old enrollments reinstating for future dates. We have linked this issue to changing the start date to an existing class with enrollment history. Changing the start date on a class that has enrollment history causes past enrollments in that class to be edited, resulting in old enrollments showing back up on the roster and enrollment dates being pushed back months or years. Enrollment history cannot be restored if this happens. We have added a warning to the class window, advising gyms not to make changes to the start date when history exists. Please follow the proper directives and tutorials when adjusting your class schedules. Utilize the Change Class Times feature on the right-hand side of the window for changing the time of your class. End the current class and create a brand-new class when changing the class to a new age group or moving the...

Hello, Exciting news! After months of planning and setup, our new digital advertising partnership with Eulerity (pronounced you-ler-ity) is ready to be launched. Eulerity is our exclusive digital advertising partner for any gyms in the US and Canada that would prefer to outsource their digital advertising needs to a professional company, as opposed to the existing DIY setup. To learn more, please register for one of these two 30-minute informational webinars led by Eulerity. The webinar is open to owners and directors. It will be recorded for those who cannot attend: March 7 at 3 p.m. ET March 11 at 1 p.m. ET Why would a franchisee choose Eulerity over the DIY system that MGE has provided? Our DIY system covers only Meta Ads. Within the same budget recommendations, Eulerity is able to run “omni-channel campaigns” on Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) and on Google Ads (Google AdWords, Google Partner Website Network, and retargeting). Your ad dollars will automatically go to the place where we are getting the best...
