The Inside Scoop on the Achievement Program!

We’re so excited to roll out My Gym’s brand-new Achievement Program, designed to help families see, feel, and celebrate the incredible growth happening in every class! The program will launch in two phases: Phase 1: Parent Participation Classes (that’s what we’re kicking off in September!) – focus on parent education. Phase 2: Independent Classes – coming soon, with a focus on the individual child. Safety Announcement

The following is an update to the safety announcement released on July 2, 2025: It has been determined that the repetitive use of the Merry-Go-Round swing (and perhaps the Tire swing) on the same swing support system strap has likely caused irreparable damage to that strap. The “winding” of the strap weakens the material, and we have had incidents where the strap has failed, fortunately without injuries. We are adding a stress test of the straps to the mandated semiannual maintenance checklist. The first test should be performed immediately. Follow the steps below, and for video directives, click here. Loop the end of a piece of rope large enough to step through. On the other end, secure a carabiner so that the looped end is approximately 3-4 inches from the ground. Have one or more staff members wearing sneakers stand on the rope/s so the straps are supporting the full load. Ideally, the total weight of the staff members will be approximately 200 pounds. Notice of Potential Texting Overage Charges

To reign in the high costs of texting, which is a service paid for collectively through the Marketing and Services Fund, we must escalate from gentle warnings to billing overage fees. We have begun sending invoices for volume above 10,000 per month at the rate of $0.014 per text. This is the only way we can keep it fair for everyone and avoid raising rates. All fees collected will go back into the Marketing and Services Fund. You can view your gym’s current usage in Text Request > Reports > Usage. Keep an eye on your usage every week. Omnify Launch Update: New Technology Platform

The transition to our new technology platform has always been a monumental task. Building a system that accommodates every operational nuance of My Gym requires time and precision. While we initially underestimated the launch timeline, we are now very close to unveiling the system. Key Update:The Pasadena Richmond UK My Gyms will be the first to go live on June 16th. We are currently seeking additional gyms in Southern California to volunteer as early adopters. For these initial launches, we will have full support, including Omnify’s engineering team on-site during launch day. New Member Fun Pack No Longer a Mandate

As our gyms have learned, the New Member Fun Pack (NMFP) provides many important benefits to both members and franchisees. These benefits include, among others, your display of gratitude to members for their joining, the new member’s feeling of belonging, advertising and branding for your gym, and an extension of the My Gym experience to outside the gym. In short, your NMFP expenditure is an investment in enhancing your members’ experience and promoting your gym in a meaningful and lasting manner. For the reasons above, it has been a mandate that every gym provide a NMFP to every newly enrolled student. However, because MGE prefers to maintain winning protocols rather than mandates, MGE has decided to remove the NMFP from the list of mandates. It is still a best practice for gyms to give a NMFP to every newly enrolled student, and gyms still should do so, but gyms will not be defaulted if they don’t do it.
