New Google AdWords/Digital Advertising Vendor

Happy New Year! As previously released, Moments that Matter is our new evergreen marketing campaign for 2018 and beyond. This campaign will drive all marketing and replace the “seasonal campaigns” used in recent years. We will not be releasing seasonally-themed campaigns in 2018. Groupon Update

We no longer advise running campaigns with Groupon, Living Social, or other similar sites. We have removed our current Groupon vendor and do not have a relationship with them anymore. If a gym is in an extreme financial situation, then it may be okay to run a Groupon for a limited time. Please contact Support if you feel you are in this situation and would like some assistance. While these sites previously garnered a fair amount of attention, they have been struggling for a few years now. In fact, Groupon bought LivingSocial earlier this year for $0. The “deal of the day” sites aren’t as popular for consumers anymore and therefore not as helpful for small businesses. Marketing experts say there is about a 19% or less conversion rate in transforming these individuals into repeat customers. The time and resources you might spend (or give away) on a Groupon would be much better spent marketing to your ideal customer...

New and Updated MGE Mandates

The current mandates have been augmented and updated.  These updates have been carefully selected to help ensure that class and program quality remain high across all My Gyms.  The FAB has also reviewed and given their approval.  These new mandates will be in effect as of January 1st, 2018.
