Read MoreDear My Gym Family, As summer winds down and we step into September, I want to share a quick but important reminder about one of the very best parts of our cherished My Gym business. Whether you’ve devoted many years of your life to My Gym, are currently coaching with us for just a short while, or find yourself somewhere in between—you are an invaluable part of what makes My Gym thrive. We all know that being a My Gym teacher can feel like a lot at times. There’s a wide range of skills, scripts, protocols, and curricula to learn. It takes energy, effort, and consistency. But as is true of most things in life, the things that matter most require dedication. That’s why we at MGE recognize and thank you for your work ethic, your love of your member families, and your commitment to the My Gym mission. I often say, if you deliver fantastic programs and make every child feel truly special, you win. Our families are...
Read MoreWe’re so excited to roll out My Gym’s brand-new Achievement Program, designed to help families see, feel, and celebrate the incredible growth happening in every class! The program will launch in two phases: Phase 1: Parent Participation Classes (that’s what we’re kicking off in September!) – focus on parent education. Phase 2: Independent Classes – coming soon, with a focus on the individual child. So what’s this all about? 🤔The Achievement Program was created to: Enhance our curriculum and give it even more purpose and flow. Help parents understand the “why” behind what we do in class. Celebrate kids’ hard work, progress, and participation. Strengthen retention as families grow with us. Here’s how it works in Phase 1: Every four weeks, we’ll spotlight three focuses – two body and one mind –in our curriculum. While classes remain packed with variety, we’ll highlight specific skills (like tumbling, balancing, or climbing) and developmental goals (like problem-solving, cooperation, or spatial awareness). These focuses will be shared with parents so they can see the bigger picture of how each activity supports their child’s growth. 👉 Important...
Read MoreThe following is an update to the safety announcement released on July 2, 2025: It has been determined that the repetitive use of the Merry-Go-Round swing (and perhaps the Tire swing) on the same swing support system strap has likely caused irreparable damage to that strap. The “winding” of the strap weakens the material, and we have had incidents where the strap has failed, fortunately without injuries. We are adding a stress test of the straps to the mandated semiannual maintenance checklist. The first test should be performed immediately. Follow the steps below, and for video directives, click here. Loop the end of a piece of rope large enough to step through. On the other end, secure a carabiner so that the looped end is approximately 3-4 inches from the ground. Have one or more staff members wearing sneakers stand on the rope/s so the straps are supporting the full load. Ideally, the total weight of the staff members will be approximately 200 pounds. Remain supported for approximately 5-10...

Read MoreTo reign in the high costs of texting, which is a service paid for collectively through the Marketing and Services Fund, we must escalate from gentle warnings to billing overage fees. We have begun sending invoices for volume above 10,000 per month at the rate of $0.014 per text. This is the only way we can keep it fair for everyone and avoid raising rates. All fees collected will go back into the Marketing and Services Fund. You can view your gym’s current usage in Text Request > Reports > Usage. Keep an eye on your usage every week. To calculate any potential fees, use this formula with a sample monthly usage of 33,067: Monthly Allowance: -10,000Texts Over Limit: 23,067Overage Rate: x 0.014Overage Fee: $322.94 Please keep this in mind so you are not caught off guard when July is billed at the beginning of August. We know that, with turnover and task delegation, not every team member is privy to the strict texting guidelines. We have updated the Texting...

Read MoreThe transition to our new technology platform has always been a monumental task. Building a system that accommodates every operational nuance of My Gym requires time and precision. While we initially underestimated the launch timeline, we are now very close to unveiling the system. Key Update:The Pasadena Richmond UK My Gyms will be the first to go live on June 16th. We are currently seeking additional gyms in Southern California to volunteer as early adopters. For these initial launches, we will have full support, including Omnify’s engineering team on-site during launch day. If you are interested in being an early adopter, please email Mae Perez at mperez@mygym.com to be considered. Setting Expectations If we were building a brand-new technology platform from scratch, the process would be much simpler. However, transitioning from MGM, a dated system, requires extensive data migration—an effort far more complex than anticipated. This new platform introduces a different layout and workflow, and, as with any advanced technology, it will take time to become fully comfortable. The...
Read MoreAs our gyms have learned, the New Member Fun Pack (NMFP) provides many important benefits to both members and franchisees. These benefits include, among others, your display of gratitude to members for their joining, the new member’s feeling of belonging, advertising and branding for your gym, and an extension of the My Gym experience to outside the gym. In short, your NMFP expenditure is an investment in enhancing your members’ experience and promoting your gym in a meaningful and lasting manner. For the reasons above, it has been a mandate that every gym provide a NMFP to every newly enrolled student. However, because MGE prefers to maintain winning protocols rather than mandates, MGE has decided to remove the NMFP from the list of mandates. It is still a best practice for gyms to give a NMFP to every newly enrolled student, and gyms still should do so, but gyms will not be defaulted if they don’t do it. This change is effective immediately. The NMFP currently consists of a...
