Enhancements and updates included in this release: Updated Delinquent Enrollments EnhancementPlease review the updates we have made to this function: Gym Notifications: The gym will receive an email the day before an auto removal is to take place so that you may take any actions needed. The gym will also receive a copy of any removal notifications sent to parents. A homepage reminder will also alert you to any auto removals that have taken place.Delinquent Report:The Removed From Class column has been renamed to Auto Removed From Class for clarity.We have added a Current Status column to indicate which records are ongoing enrollments and are subject to removal. If you were to google “My Gym,” you would immediately be hit with a great many reviews espousing how special our program is, how wonderful our teachers are, and how much of an impact My Gym has made in so many families’ lives.  Unfortunately, however, you would also see a lot of reviews written by displeased parents who have a serious bone to pick with our cancellation policy. We always follow CDC guidelines for any world health concerns, and we assure you we will access information at the beginning of issues. Music Licensing Update

Hello, franchisees!  It’s that time of year again – time to sign up for our annual music licensing program. What exactly is music licensing? Whenever music is played in a public setting such as your gym, it is subject to licensing fees.  You are not legally allowed to play music in your business unless you have the proper license to do so.  Simply purchasing or streaming the music through iTunes or Spotify, for example, does not give you the right to play it in the gym. MGE reaches out to the major music licensing companies each year to negotiate the best rates for our franchisees.  We set up an annual contract with them that is good from January thru December.  This year we were able to work with two of the major players, BMI and ASCAP, for a total fee of $470 per gym. Vistaprint Pro Shop

We are aware of the issues with some of the templates on the Vistaprint Pro Shop. Many of the Edit + Order templates (e.g., business cards, punch passes, etc.) have incorrect fonts or do not have any editable fields. The report will show the reason for the declined payment (failed transaction or expired CC) and the date that the child will be automatically removed from class if not rectified. Space Flight Lawsuit Update

Dear My Gym Family, A little over a year ago, we experienced a catastrophic accident at a My Gym that resulted in the death of a 7-year-old boy named Brady.  This tragic accident was the result of human error, both in setting up and in spotting the Space Flight activity – a set of circumstances and errors that resulted in the worst conceivable outcome.  We continue to grieve, and our thoughts are with the family.  We will be speaking about the actual accident at our My Gym Town Hall on Thursday 12/19.  We invite all My Gym owners and directors to attend.
